Turkey Trot Troubles
ByPublisher Description
One missing coin. One chaotic festival. Four friends who won't back down.
The Lenape High Thanksgiving Festival is supposed to be all fun—hay bales, pie-eating contests, and the big Turkey Trot race. But when a rare commemorative coin disappears, chaos erupts… and Marcus Kahale, Alissa Claude, Janice Kane, and Nate Wilson find themselves caught in the middle of a mystery.
From pie-splattered competitions to clues hidden under the bleachers, the Kahale Crew must work fast before the festival's biggest tradition is ruined for good. But with suspects everywhere—rival students, suspicious teachers, even the school mascot—solving the case won't be easy.
Can the Lenape sleuths crack the mystery before the Turkey Trot ends in total disaster? Or will this be the year the festival goes down in history… for all the wrong reasons?
Full of humor, teamwork, and clever twists, Turkey Trot Troubles is a laugh-out-loud middle-grade mystery perfect for fans of City Spies, Framed!, and The Parker Inheritance.
