“Reading the translator’s note you realise how much has been lost in translation. Not a very good job done.
But despite the sloppy translation, I quite enjoyed the novella. Mahasweta Debi’s distinct voice comes through despite the translation and that’s perhaps why it was a good read.”Start a Book Club
