“Not as impressed with this one as all of her others. I still think she's a great writer though!”
“I really want to give this 3.5 stars but Goodreads isn't that technologically advanced. I liked it but the middle kind of lagged and then the end was a bit over dramatic. The cover also reminds me of Mandy Moore orgasming- don't know what to do with that. I liked that it was about female friends going through a Midlife Crisis together in Mexico. I craved Mexican food everyday while I read this. The narrator is on a journey towards re-awakening her sense of self and passion in life (i.e. she beds a native). So I found myself craving some Diego Luna and/or Gael Garcia Bernal. "I was wide awake and older now." I guess Midlife Crisis isn't just for the boys anymore!”
