Treehouse Angel
ByPublisher Description
After suffering a horrible tragedy, Tenshi shuts down her life and returns to her parents' home to figure out what comes next. She and her father were always close, but her relationship with her mother was a lifelong challenge.
While walking in the woods she comes across the ruins of the last treehouse she built with her older brother, and that inspires her to follow an unexpected path. She plans and then single-handedly builds a treehouse that will become her new home.
As the project proceeds she becomes aware that she can heal people and animals just by touching them. It starts with her mother's dog, then happens again with her father, and before long neighbors are stopping by for help. When she moves on to healing the wild animals in the woods, they become her friends and guardians.
Word spreads slowly that an angel is living in the woods. She helps those who need it, but there are also people who want to interview, save, exploit, or enslave her. Every one leaves disappointed; some also leave healthier.
As Tenshi's power grows, she finds a way to juggle her healing, neutralizing the danger, reconnecting with her family, and finally overcoming the grief that has threatened to consume her.
This thoughtful, mystical story mixes wonder, mystery, sorrow, and humor into a tale you will never forget.

About Chris Mason
Chris Mason was a software engineer for 18 years, including 10 years at Microsoft working on Word and Office. He would rather have spent that time writing novels, but someone had to make enough money to buy dog food. He is also the founder of GrowlyBird Software, which develops free Macintosh applications. Born in Ohio, Chris has moved around too much for anyone's good, living in several places that might be considered tourist attractions. He mines those experiences for the settings of his books. He lives in Florida with his wife, two dogs, two cats, and a smart-aleck macaw who has pets of her own. You can contact him through his publisher: quaternarypub at gmail.
