“This one was a tough read for me. I went in knowing it would be a ton of backstory, but daaaaamn did it feel long lmao. I usually fly through these books, but this one took me a while because I found myself honestly getting bored at times. I did enjoy learning about the duskwalkers as babies though. And yes I know I knooooow she says this a slow burn book. I KNOW.. I pray in the second one that there is more of a connection between Lindi and Weldir, OUTSIDE of only when “servants” are needed.😭”
