“Im a huge fan of the Duskwalker Brides series so I was ecstatic when I saw this series! I was nervous going in because I usually hate the miscommunication trope but after reading these two books, it just fit so perfectly. With the circumstances Weldir and Lindiwe are in, you can’t avoid miscommunication and honestly it truly adds such depth to the book, this story couldn’t have gone any other way. The slow burn was a perfect pace, their HEA was definitely fought for and hard earned. You also get such a different perspective of Lindiwe in this story, she breaks your heart with how deeply she loves her children and how horribly she’s treated. She deserves so much better. It was so beautiful how hard she fights for those she loves. I loved these two books just as much as the other series, all the little pieces we get from their perspective on the events their children were going through add such depth to the overall storyline and world. For those who just wanted a little more of our favorite characters this was such a nice extra. I was so curious to Weldir and Lindiwe’s relationship in the other series, it was so rewarding to wait for the full version we craved from those glimpses. Regardless how you feel about the miscommunication trope, this story was done so well it would be terrible to miss it just because of that! It truly makes this story special”
