“Read on: 🎧 Audiobook
It hooked me early on, and then got slow in some parts, and then picked back up again. I feel like it visually would make a good historical spy movie. 😊
I listened to it on audiobook, so at times it’s hard to follow since it jumps points of view and I didn’t notice until a minute or two into the chapter, and I had to rewind it to re-listen with the right person in mind.
Overall, I liked it for a historical fiction book! That’s usually not my preferred genre, so the fact that it kept my interest enough to finish it was a big plus and made me want to read other historical fiction books that have a thriller/spy bent to them.”
