“A wonderful story packed with emotion. Shows how people come and go in your life and how important it is to have hope in the darkest of times.”“This book is a bit of a slow burn. Not a ton happens for 300 pages but it was more character based which I enjoy.
This is a look into immigration to America and the life that is waiting there. It is terrible, horrific, and utterly beautiful.
I loved this book and there were so many interesting themes in it. The treatment of immigrants, and the Jewish people was particularly sad.
I don't want to spoil anything and I know this review doesn't tell you much but I just love this book.”
