“This is a quick read and the ending is incredible. I appreciate that the author took it as far as she did with the Stephen King degree of bullying that the mc faces, so I'm disappointed that she didn't push it that * little bit further * when the opportunity presented itself. The illustrated tableaus are what truly elevate the story and make it memorable. It's a shame the writing itself is pretty poor, considering how fascinating the story is. There's one sentence I read about 6 times trying to make sense of before giving up.”Start a Book Club
