“I’ve been waiting for this book for a year. Eric Larocca has had a disgust place in my heart after i read Things have Gotten Worse Since We Last Spoke. Unfortunately, this book didn’t love up to my expectations. Really, it felt quite muddy and stream-of-consciousness/overly flowery at times. However, perhaps it’s my fault for expecting something as life changing as THGWSWLS.
Recommend as a casual book of short stories that leave you feeling vaguely disturbed for no particular reason. It feels vaguely.. off? Gross? Which is what u really love about Larocca’s works.”
