“I’m so glad I ordered the sequel before I finished this book because I’m eager to know what happens next. I love magic, poisonous plants, mythology, etc. so this was a great read! I don’t like magic/fantasy that is set in a modern day context but I think the author did a great job with having this set in modern times without unnecessarily including real world elements/pop culture references. This was an easy read but the storyline was captivating. Excited to read any and everything by this author. This was a page turner, especially once the suspense and mystery started picking up more and more.”

“I really enjoyed learning about the plants, it was well written, maybe could read it again. Not sure who I'd be able to recommend it to, in a few years the pop culture references will be obsolete. I liked the mythology lore.”
