“This was good, okay? But I doubt I would ever return to read it again.
A short horror tale about the discord between the witch bride and her stepson, son of a king. “Strict stepmother - spoiled brat” kind of relationship, that’s basically the only thing developed in this novel. No particular attachment to any of the characters, just straight up introduction and then the story unfolds.
Honestly, her mentality managed to make me read this novel until the end. The horror was rather interesting— as it was a bit disturbing, if you actually think about it happening in real life —but I think I will forget about it in the passing of time.
There wasn’t a particular ending in this… so, there’s that too. Leaves you in a cliffhanger that never gets answered. Overall, a good 20-minute read, but that’s about it.”
