Publisher Description

Yet another great resource from Dr. White for our youngest students! By taking the wisdom from her first book, Go Away Worries: Put Them in the Worry Jar, and presenting the idea in an enjoyable and developmentally appropriate manner to reach early learners, Michelle has given parents, classroom teachers and counselors a means to deal with a growing problem. Insecurity, anxiety, and general worry is more prevalent in our society than ever before. Using this book as a guide to help break the cycle early on and instill a plan to help children deal with their feelings can only be seen as positive. Kudos to her brilliance! Shannon Morgan, Teacher

About Michelle M White

Since she was a little girl, Michelle has always wanted to be a teacher. She earned her teaching degree from Lebanon Valley College in 1995. Several years later, she earned her master's degree in Special Education. As a learning support teacher, she became passionate about helping kids find ways to succeed despite their struggles. In 2001, Michelle was in a powered parachuting accident the left her paralyzed from the chest down. This period of her life brought opportunities that she never expected. Writing helped Michelle heal and her first children's book, New Opportunities, was published in 2005. In 2012, Michelle wrote Scubability alongside Jim Elliott of Diveheart. Shortly after, Michelle wrote Go Away Worries! Put Them in The Worry Jar. Her newest book, The Worry Jar, rounds up her 2017 book team. In 2011, Michelle earned her Ph.D. in Education. Leading by example, she shows others the only limitations you have are the ones you put on yourself.
