“I enjoy Amish books but this was not a typical Amish book. The Amish could drive cars and they did not live in the normal Amish community. I wasn’t expecting that but it didn’t really take away from the storyline.
I enjoyed the main characters Noah and Lilah but I was not a fan of Lilah’s daughter. She was very self absorbed and snotty. There is somewhat of a reason why at the end of the book but her attitude did bother me throughout the book.
Getting over losing someone is hard and this story explores those feelings. Overall the book was just OK.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley, opinions express in this review are completely my own.”
