“Made the mistake of reading reviews before starting. So started to question, should this all have been one book, does he describe the sky too much, does he go OTT on describing Jane's beauty. Then I got a grip. I Went back to doing what I did with the 1st book, enjoying being immersed in DK's imagination, and enjoying the plot. The start is slower than the 1st book, but I felt more attached to the characters in this instalments. Great last few chapters with a twist I hadn't expected. Making you want to pick up number 3 to see just what the hell just happened. **Oh and to the rather bitter lady who left a scathing review of how boring the descriptions of an attractive young woman were, and how un realistic Jane's slender figure was given she ate lots of food, 🙄 please sister.. Stop. Just let it go. It's not all about you. There are some beautiful slender women who shovel food in for fun. No lemons needed.”
