“Eliot is a classic for a reason. Prufrock and The Waste Land are formative for me and touchstones of modern poetry.
Unfortunately, this selection of his poem includes a number of them in their original French. I am confident that they’re perfectly serviceable poems, but I speak as much French as my dog Archie - which is to say none whatsoever.”
