Anna Tambour's second novel, Crandolin was shortlisted for the World Fantasy Award. Her short fiction has appeared in a number of places, including The Del Rey Book of Science Fiction and Fantasy edited by Ellen Datlow; and most recently, Caledonian Dreamin': Strange Fiction of Scottish Descent edited by Hal Duncan and Chris Kelso.
An internationalist who's lived in many places, she grew up knowing nothing more about forests than what she learned from fairy tales (by fantasists intentional and otherwise), but now lives in the Australian bush.
