“The Veteran's Vow was a great book that was hard to put down. The chemistry between Behr and Ellery felt so natural, even if he accused her of trying to break down his door when they fi st met. Ellery was so patient with Behr but also knew how beneficial it would be in the end for him to leave his comfort zone. I also love dogs so having a book all about dogs, especially service dogs specifically trained to help veterans, was great. I do wish one of the off leash dogs mentioned hadn't been a pitbull just because of the bad rap already (and we love our pittie mix who is always leashed when out), but since nothing majorly bad happened, it felt like the issue was directed more at the owner and not the dog breed.”

“I have yet to read a story by Jill Lynn that I didn't adore, and I have read almost all of her books. This one is no different! I LOVED this story! What's not love about it? You have adorable dogs, a surly but lovable teenager, a dreamy war vet(or as Brynn calls him-Hot Vet) and a great main character that is trying to help all the war vets she can with service dogs. This was a wonderful read. Don't miss this sweet friends to more story with lots of humor.
I received a copy of this book from the author but also purchased my own copy for my favorites shelf. All thoughts are my own.”
