“One of the most beautiful pieces of writing I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading.
In this final book in the Vanderbeeker series, the depth of their love for each other is on full display. When they are faced with one of the children’s illness, they do what Vanderbeekers do best, and they band together.
I was especially impressed with how the author managed to give each character a special way to help and make this time in their lives meaningful and memorable.
