“🎧 Ok, what? I mean, Armageddon?? Not at all what I thought! And Damon and Balthazar really are romantics. Throwing the thrown over-hilarious! 4 immortals, how many more? What’s next? This series is still dun and intriguing.”
“I'll continue the series because I'm invested in the overreaching plot, but I'm less impressed with the writing as each installment finishes. The speech is halting and overly formal for some characters (Christian especially), and we're using overly familiar turns of phrase (I've never seen so amd so do this" or "they never xyz") These characters have known each other for a handful of weeks...how on earth would they know what behaviors are out of the ordinary?🙄🤦🏼♀️
The full cast is irksome - the overly dramatic narrator and the disjoint between the characters' conversations is distracting. Despite my griping, I will continue to listen because I am not willing to pay for the remaining books and lile I said earlier, I am here for the story🤷🏼♀️”
