“I have been reading Love Inspired books by Harlequin lately. I bought them at a public library for 20 cents! My grandmother read Harlequin books all the time and then she would put them in a brown paper bag and leave them in my sister and my bedroom when she came to visit. In the 70's they were clean romances. Today Harlequin has the Love Inspired line which are inspirational or Christian romances. I have to say I am enjoying them on the beach. They are quick reads and the authors right relatable stories.
The Twins' Alaskan Adventure is about a woman who is running a diner in Alaska when it is damaged by a storm. With nothing to do, she reluctantly says yes to being a nanny for her former boyfriend who she has a grudge against. Of course, the enemy to lover's trope combined with some hard-to-handle kids makes for a great story. I would have liked more faith incorporated into the story. It seemed to be a minor part of the plot.
