“Laurel Blount has delivered a beautiful story here - one of faith, family, and dare I say change. The thing is, we think we want one thing in life, but then the Lord places a little bump in the road so to speak, and suddenly our hearts our changing, and we find ourselves wondering if we still want that one thing in life, or perhaps we desire something entirely different. If the children in this story don't melt your heart, Ruby might. She is without a doubt my favorite character. Just read and you'll understand why :) All in all, Love Inspired fans will treasure going on this summer adventure with the triplets, Nick and Cara. It will give you all the feels, grabbing a tissue, and put a big smile on your face. Enjoy friends! I received a complimentary copy of this book. I was not required to write a favorable review. “I ADORED this story! Laurel is one of my most favorite Love Inspired authors and this book has landed firmly in my top 3 of her books (along with Lost & Found Faith and Hometown Hope). It’s a sweet story with characters I loved and it absolutely charmed me from start to finish, it gave me ALL the feels. I have enjoyed every story with Ruby and her kids and I’m sorry to see this series end! This book is in my top 2024 reads for sure! “Wow, wow, wow! I literally was tearing up near the end. And mid-book I was SO drawn into the story I messaged Laurel and had to tell her my thoughts! It just had to be said... When an author writes a book that TRULY moves you, you tell them, they NEED to know. I loved this! Nick loves to travel, he is never any place long and lives out of his duffel bag much of his life. But he is happy, he's fulfilled and he's always planning his next trip. When his brother calls him home to help with a Summer Camp and to be the park ranger, he takes the gig. But while he loves being home and near family, his heart is still on the road. Cara is a divorced, single mom of triplets. Her sons are struggling with their new living arrangements , so she tries out the summer camp to see how they like it. They hate it! But all that is about to change! Nick and Cara knew each other from high school, they loved to annoy and tease each other back then and truthfully neither was a big fan of the other. But when Cara wants her boys to enjoy camp, and Nick needs a camp cook, they strike up an agreement. But its a faulty one... 1. They can't stand each other. 2. Even if they could get along, this is temporary. 3. The boys need a man in their life,but their heart will break when he leaves. The question on both their minds... Is this a good idea? Happiness short-term knowing if it leads to heart break?! Can they take the risk? Or should they stop the arrangement before anyone gets hurt?! This book is different in the way it addresses romance. Laurel writes the story in a way that you are bearing witness to their feelings and their thoughts as they are shaping them. You learn Cara's personality and you understand her struggles. You get to know Nick and you see how he ticks and what brings him joy. You understand them, so you also understand their struggle with their relationship and it makes it just that much more real! There is a moment in the story where Cara and Nick argue and I literally was holding my chest feeling like I FELT their pain. I understood his side, I understood hers. Its made total sense and it was all too real. If love is meant to work, there is risk, there are ups and downs and shoot MANY times we end up with our total opposite being our perfect fit. THIS was the perfect story. I can share so much more... but you just NEED to read it!!! Enjoy!”
