Thinking Face“5 stars because of the premise, the scientific yet reader-friendly explanations, the imagination that went into this! Not 5 stars for action or prose though, but seriously, who cares? This is such a imaginative story, and there will be a lot that's lost in translation, it's not easy to translate from a language with such a different rythm, different culture and the way writing is done. English doesn't have the same rich words and even with such a well done translation, there are still nuances that will be missed and that might've added richness. For example, while the suffering was obvious for many, it felt like it was rushed and described but I couldn't sympathize. More nuance could change that. A few technical things were wrong too, such as solutions to the three body problem, they state there are only 11, but outside of a closed solution there are thousands. There were some things like this that bothered me, but only because I have a genuine interest in this field and it's not something a person that isn't devoting a lot of time to it will notice. All in all though, I really loved my time in this universe. Looking forward to the next two!”
