“What an unexpected delight! I really enjoyed this book, much more than I anticipated. It wrapped up a little nearly for my tastes, but the overall story was good. I really enjoyed the way the two authors blended their voices to create a captivating story of two soldiers at war and the women back home who loved them. I especially enjoyed the New Orleans/Louisiana settings. “I thought there would be more connection between the women in this story so I was surprised about that and I wish the connection between the two male leads was stronger.
This book deals with some very difficult topics, but the authors did a good job of discussing + shedding light on it.”Ken
