“I feel a bit split about this book. In one way I liked it and in an other I didn’t. A long journey with technical advances but no evolutionary advances, humankind stays the same through trillions of years. The characters aren’t engaging, they are mostly annoying and rude. I would have liked it to have more advances for humankind. I did like that the stars are sentient beings.”About Stephen Baxter
