“I didn’t have high hopes for this sequel, considering I was very underwhelmed with the first book. Somehow, I was left pleasantly surprised, as I enjoyed this one much more than The Academy. I’m not sure if it was because I was used to these characters now, or I grew accustomed to Elin’s writing style but whatever it was, I’m glad it worked! I still feel like what draws me back from loving these books, is the amount of characters. There is constantly so many people to think about in this story, it sometimes makes it hard to follow but I can’t wait to read another one of Elin’s books in the future! With all the drama in these books, I can only imagine what she has in store!”
“Per usual I really enjoyed this Elin Hilderbrand book! I like that we explored more characters from book one and got deeper with a lot of them! Rhodes whole story was interesting and I get where it tied in but overall he just is an annoying character. I was shocked where Tilly’s story ended and did not see that coming.
I think Taylor’s story was a really powerful one for young women to read, I think it was well written since that’s something I have personally experienced. I also just overall love Charley and her character!
The email from Cinnamon was not at all what I thought it might be but it was beautiful. I genuinely felt like I was at their graduation and could feel the emotions the all felt.
Overall super good wrap up to their years at Tiffin, I love where all the stories went, felt like everything was neatly wrapped up. Solid four star read!”
“A satisfying second installment to go and see characters we fell for in the Academy. Enjoyable, sweet and entertaining”
