“Was expecting more monster I guess. “Horror” due to situation and survival aspect, but i don’t think I’d categorize it as that. Whatever it was good”“If you like in depth description about boats…you’ll love this one.
Chapter 30 onwards was when it was worth it. A LOT of navigational discussions, ship descriptions, and a lot of general navy stuff that I didn’t understand. Once they were stranded, it as excellent.
A long read. I don’t think I’d read this again. I did enjoy the range of characters, the isolated setting, and the eeriness that goes along with it.”
