“Ms. Mcfadden's books have always been my go to when I'm having a hard time reading, Been going through a rough patch this month and even this book almost didn't get me through. The story started slow and I felt icky reading about the teacher-student parts. Pedo🤮 Yucky Mr. Bennett. Towards the end though, Freida unleashes her writing talent as usual with all the twists. Ugh! My eyes went 😳 and I was like.. whutt????🫨 First, Kenzie was also a victim which I had an inkling of because she also had a note in her drawer when Addie went to her house. Second, Eve was also a victim and that's why Nate and her have been going through a tough time because he preferred young women. Ick. Third, Hudson IS Jay! Holy moly. Seriously! This story was sooooo twisty. Ut gave me the rush that I needed. Giving it a 3.5 because WTF at the beginning it was sloooow.
