“I was prompted to read this book after seeing the Hallmark adaptation with Julie Gonzalo and Chris McNally…and the book is certainly different than the film! (I love the movie, but I still enjoyed the book.)
There were certain characters from the first book that I glossed over since I hadn’t read the first book (featuring Sarah & Luke) so their parts/perspective in the story were a bit confusing.
The story of Maddie and Nate is still entertaining as they come to realizations of their previous mistakes and future possibilities. Yes, I’d recommend it to anyone looking for an easy read…but I’d probably suggest they start with book 1.”
