Slightly Smiling Face“I was going to rate this book 4.75 stars because of the ending. But then I finished the book, and the ending was really good. So 5 stars! I definitely recommend. The climax wasn't my favorite, but the rest of the book was good, and the conclusion was beautiful.”
Slightly Smiling Face“This world was so enchanting to read about. A magical hermit creates stone creatures that have so much character, and care for each other as a community. The main character (the stone girl) needs to venture out from her maker’s home to protect her family of stone creatures, and the growth she experiences on her journey truly makes you reflect on the phrase “as unchanging as stone”. The magic system the author built was also a highlight of the book and was honestly so creative. Although a simple book that’s probably geared more towards teens, it was a nostalgic read with a really cool magic system.”
