“Each time I pick up a book in the Misewa Saga, I’m never disappointed. Although the series is geared toward a younger audience, I absolutely love reading them.
The Stone Child has been my favourite so far. I noticed even more character development with some of the main characters in this one, and I think David A. Robertson’s writing just keeps getting better with each book. I love the Narnia-esque feel as they travel between worlds — I truly feel like I’m right there with them.
I was very emotional at the end of this book. I highly recommend this series — it’s a wonderful blend of fantasy and adventure, with heartfelt emotion woven throughout. Both kids being in the foster system adds another meaningful layer to the story.
