“Gave some It vibes. Some spooky moments. Ultimately the ~power of friendship~ saved them so… 4ish stars.”
“The audiobook was difficult to listen to at the end. It was cringe.”
“The thought premise of the story was an interesting idea but I could not find anything I liked about any of the characters. Friends lost in a labyrinth of a house (personified) by the people it tortures because misery loves company. It boggles my mind how these characters seemed to be friends from childhood all the way into adulthood when they seemingly don’t like each other or tolerate/respect their differences of which there are many in my opinion. And the political aspect woven into the story was unimportant but for the sake of just being there. A book should be entertaining and this was not.”
