“What a Ride !
I have to sort my thoughts still, but i thoroughly enjoyed my time - although it took me a while to get it and get into it. When I was though, I was like consumed by it. Read it before sleeping, dreamt of it, read it after waking up.
I noticed I am a fan of those saga/journey/odyssey type of story. This one reminded me of old legends and sagas I was read and told, when I was a kid.
I found the way the story was told jarring at first, but then super interesting, since it gave a chance to explain lore, without having the „this is the lore part“/download kind of vibe.
Also as a Pen and Paper Gal it gave me TONS of inspiration for future stories I could tell at my table and it’s just been a while a book has done that so effortlessly for me :)
Excited for the reread I’ll have down the road, since I’ll get it from the get-go ;)”
