The Silverback Murders

It is 1936. Capitol City is the most corrupt metropolis in the nation. The mobs run City Hall and own the police. Honest citizens bar their doors at night and pray for dawn.

But in the past few months, a new thread of hope has started to unwind. A mysterious vigilante known only as the Grey Phantom has taken to the streets with twin .45 automatics to deliver the kind of justice the police cannot, or will not, provide. Hunted by the law and the underworld, the Grey Phantom has made it his mission to save Capitol City--even if he has to destroy it.

But now a killer is stalking the streets, literally squeezing the life out of men in their own homes and disappearing without a trace. The Grey Phantom has narrowed the next victim down to three names, but how will he choose which man to protect when he knows the odds are stacked in favor of murder?
