“While still good, the 3rd book in The Lost Queen Series, I didn't find as good as the first two. The Shadowed Land took us on a journey with Angharad, as she continues to develop as a Wisdom Keeper, and Artur, who follows in his father's footsteps. Languoreth and Lailoken still are prominent in the book. This one wasn't as long as the other two, either. I reread the first two books, since it had been a few years since I read them, before I read this one. Now, I have to wait until the Fall of 2027 for the next book. Of course, I will have to reread the 3 before it, before I read it, which is okay since I love this series.
When reading this series, you can tell Pike put in a lot of hardwork and a lot of time doing research. She gives you a chance to travel back to 540 to 584 Scotland. My TBR grew also, because she listed some books in her note I would like to read concerning Artur.
