“Completely hooked on the atmosphere I found in these pages. It was a shadowy labyrinth of a journey, but I loved it. Gothic characters with mysterious pasts, nostalgia and the haunting consequences of one's actions, all written by a heart that clearly loves literature. It's beautiful how books hold so much of their author's soul, and what we see in them mirrors our own. Unraveling this mystery felt like stepping into the core of the human heart.
It made me so happy when I realized there were sequels to The Cemetery of Forgotten Books. I hadnt been engaged in a book like this for awhile, or in the concepts it presented like the Cemetery. It satisfied some inner parts of my brain.
However this was definitely too crude for my liking overall; I would have enjoyed myself better if some kind soul had already censored some paragraphs.
But still. Unforgettable vibe.”

Carlos Ruiz Zafón was one of the world’s most read and best-loved writers. His work has been translated into more than forty languages and published around the world, garnering numerous international prizes and reaching millions of readers. He was the author of The Shadow of the Wind, The Angel's Game, The Prince of Mist, The Midnight Palace, The Prisoner of Heaven, and, most recently, The City of Mist, published posthumously. He died in 2020.
Lucia Graves is the author and translator of many works and has overseen Spanish-language editions of the poetry of her father, Robert Graves.
