The Seeker's Wrath
by P.S. Davis

The North is fracturing. The Order is rotting. And Captain Marcius Saylong is running out of time.

Sent to forge a fragile peace, Saylong is drawn instead into a storm of betrayal. Pirates strike under hidden banners. Castles fall without a fight. Heirs vanish. At the center of it all is a conspiracy that threatens to topple the realm's last pillar of power.

To stop it, Saylong must outwit his enemies, survive a war he did not choose, and unite a people who would rather remain divided than bow to southern rule.

But unity demands more than diplomacy. It demands sacrifice. And among his few allies is a northern warrior who wants no throne, no treaty—only revenge.

The Seeker's Wrath is a brutal, character-driven epic set in the war-torn world of Teloshka, where alliances shift like frost, justice moves slowly, and loyalty is never safe. Strategy, not swordplay, decides the future. Peace is as dangerous as war.

For readers who prefer intrigue over spectacle, consequence over comfort, and a world that remembers every debt.

The Seeker's Wrath Reviews

“Possible spoilers below Disclaimer: I was sent a copy of this book as a sort of ARC/early reviewer. "Tonight we carve our names into the bones of history" *Star rating out of 5: 2.5/5 stars it didn't quite fit into 2 or 3 stars but ultimately I chose to give it 2 because Goodreads doesn't allow half ratings and I doubt I'll think about this novel again. *Would I recommend the book: Not to most of my reader friends, but to readers looking for action/high fantasy *My favorite character/why: The boar, "Gurrlan" if that counts as a character *My favorite part was: Gurrlan the boar, and some of the poetic ways the book would describe things like fear, honor, forces and feelings within. Some fights were also quite intriguing and the descriptions of hand to hand combat were a lot of fun and action packed. *Do i think the book is well written? Why is it or isn't it? Was engaging, delightful, or inspiring? Was it staid, boring, or contrived? While definitely original I disliked the abrupt lore drops that didn't flow into the present narrative. At times they were sentence-long "fun fact" style lines that broke immersion, other fantasy authors tend to blend lore seamlessly into the present narrative. They almost felt like footnotes but they were actually integrated into the middle of a paragraph. One page alone referred to 5 or 6 different in world entities with fantasy names that had not been pre-established. It was a little overwhelming. It often told stories from the past interspersed throughout the present narrative without referencing them as a memory or even as an implied narrative shift. These shifts were abrupt and jarring. *Was it what you expected it to be? I didn't know what to expect. *How I discovered the book: I was seeking ARCs and the author personally sent me a copy *Format I read it in: Physical copy Possible spoilers above”
“The Seeker’s Wrath is a gritty, character-driven epic fantasy where Captain Marcius Saylong must navigate betrayal, vanishing heirs, and rebellion in a crumbling realm—uniting a fractured North through strategy, sacrifice, and uneasy alliances, including with a northern warrior bent on revenge. Perfect for readers who crave political intrigue, slow-burning tension, and high-stakes consequences. This was my first non-romance fantasy, and it took some adjusting. The complex world-building and shifting third-person perspectives—with no clear indicators—made the start a little challenging to follow. The broad narrative scope shows multiple players across regions, and it took until around 40% before I really connected with the characters and could keep track of names and roles. Once I was in, though, it felt like watching Vikings—filled with invasions, political moves, battle strategy, and betrayal. Saylong’s journey to unite the realms is layered with secrets, danger, and tension, and I enjoyed the glimpses into the different leaders' lives and motives. The world is richly imagined and demands focus, but it’s well worth it. This story was unlike anything I’ve read before, with strong writing and a satisfying conclusion.”
