“This book is billed as a children's book for ages 9-12, but it read very enjoyably, and honestly hit the spot better for me than most Christmas books aimed at adults. I didn't know going into it that grief was going to be somewhat central to the story. It worked well for me as I was actually in a similar boat to the main character at the time of reading, but this may not be an aspect that works for all readers looking for a Christmas mystery.”
“This was fun to read as an advent calendar. I loved the atmosphere, the illustrations in it, and while the plot was quite easy to guess for an adult, it was no less enjoyable to read.”
