The School for Good and Evil: The Complete 6-Book Collection Reviews

3.5
“I was very excited to read this series after watching the mediocre movie on Netflix that is based off the first book, and well I can say the story is far better in these novels, and the world in the book just feels a little more threshed out. However, the characters in the novel are actually quite irritable. I won’t be continuing this series after accidentally spoiling myself and finding out that the characters if anything get worse (not all of them, just some of them). The movie has one thing that absolutely destroys this book, and that thing is Sofia Wyllie and her biceps as she kills the headmaster with the sword. Tedros is also a loser in these books he’s a bit more redeemable in the movie like I can somewhat root for him, whereas in the books I’m like Agatha, RUN AWAY. Ugh I just wish Agatha and Sophie could be seen for what they truly are, a lesbian couple forced to conform to a straight society except with a bunch of fairy dust and evil witches.”
“1: 3 star 2: 2 star”
