The Rosetta Key
ByPublisher Description
The year is 1799. As Bonaparte's army descends upon Israel, intent upon conquest, American adventurer Ethan Gage finds himself searching the Holy Land for a legendary Egyptian scroll imbued with awesome powers. The raffish and resourceful Gage must keep the mysterious document from his enemy, Napoleon—or, failing that, wrest it from him, even if it means pursuing his vengeful adversary back to France. And the wisdom of his great mentor, Benjamin Franklin, will offer Gage no solace should Bonaparte succeed in unlocking the terrible secrets of the Book of Thoth, and seizing ultimate power.

“I read the first in this series over 10 years ago, don’t recommend waiting that long though the author does a nice summary, before starting this one. Gripping historical action thriller about a lesser known time in history, Napoleon trying to conquer the Middle East. Our hero prevails with his American wit and charm. Definitely an entertaining read.”
“The book plot sounded interesting and it was okay I might go back and try to finish the book later or just audiobook it. The book was just too slow for me.☹️”
