The River Judge Reviews

3.5
“Not a bad story at all of family secrets, revenge, taking your shots, & betrayal told from the lens of a child forced to grow up too soon. I liked the plot even though it was a tad bit predictable as it provided a good amount of intrigue, suspense, & thrills without being too long-winded or boring. The near thing is that even though this is a prequel novella, you don’t have to read the original novel to get immersed in the story, but it does a good job setting up the characters for the future (I think). Overall I liked the story and the characters.”
