“A little too "this would have worked better as a podcast/video series" in its hyper conversational tone. It doesn't offer much new beyond trivia available on IMDB or Wikipedia, nor a new perspective when this is really just a conversation you could get for free overheard in a comic book store.
And a specific note: how did the writers and/or an editor not catch the mistake in their Daredevil (2003) summary in noting that the movie made Kingpin "white"? It most certainly did NOT, and this was a big deal on the film's release back in the day. A small mistake, and yet an egregious one when it comes to the subject matter and importance. If the book can't take these details seriously, why should I take anything else it has to say seriously in turn?”
