The Rime of the Ancient Mariner Reviews

3.5
“I'm trying to read more poetry this year, and I had a great time dwelling in Coleridge's metrical and descriptive creativity. As far as the narrative goes it's clearly also fascinating, though I can't quite tell yet whether it'll have more to give on that front on second reading, since thematically speaking it didn't strike me as particularly complex. But with that said, there's obviously no way to know what you've missed until you go back and try it again... so glad I finally got around to this one anyhow, and I'll definitely look forward to returning to it.”
“I pass, like night, from land to land”
