“"It's never too late to come home."
The tagline on the books says it all. Samuel felt he could never live up to his father’s expections and left the ranch as a young man to make his own way, far from Gabriel’s Bend Ranch. Years have passed and lessons have been learned. When Samuel gets the call that his father is injured and he’s needed to help run the ranch, he takes the opportunity to come home, to make things right. And along the way, he has the opportunity to rebuild the bridge he burned with Joella as a young, rebellious teen.
Myra Johnson has a gift for drawing the reader into the emotions of the moment without going overboard. Great story of redemption and forgiveness. Highly recommend.”
