“a complex and passionate portrayal of sapphic self-discovery. seeing how therese and carol’s relationship unfolded felt so real and sincere. considering how young therese is, her journey throughout this story is so intense. i thought of her relationship as an experience to treat as a memorable lesson for her years to come. i’m not sure what to think of the ending, but it also allows the reader to interpret the trajectory of therese’s life. poetic and thought-provoking!”Start a Book Club
