The Poison Throne Reviews

3.5
“An unexpected delight from start to finish. The characters are easy to love, and their connection feels genuine and compelling. The story pulled me in more than I anticipated, and I finished it already looking forward to the next instalment.”
“This book is not what I expected, but I love it. God Wynter could be anoying but I loved the banter. They toppled a few big themes in the book which I enjoyed and I love how subtle the magic/fantasy was in the book. Like the book could’ve gone without and it still would’ve been near perfect, BUT it made the book special. It wasn’t doused in magic or fantasy. What makes it even better is that magic didn’t solve anything. It just guided the story one way of the other. Believe systems were explains and storysetting was nice. I’ve read this book multiple times and i swear i could scream at Wynter, but she changed for the better in the series I guess. She was a Queen not just yet”
