“did i enjoy it? yes. was the writing good? i don’t think so. why would a future therapist start referring to them as shrinks in the last act of the book? the way hunter was recapping the lives of the off-campus boys was so unrealistic. i could never fathom a man talking about his friends the way hunter was — it was very girl-coded. also? let’s get the recapping out of this in general. you want the lore? go read the books. it’s one of my biggest pet peeves in every book ever but it’s even worse when it happens in a book with a first person pov”
