“it was refreshing to read a legend from another culture, particularly one i had no idea about before and one which seems to stem from having love and respect for the earth and also which places its women on an equal footing to its men.
i wasnt the biggest fan of the poetry-esque style of the writing and I thought that the world-building and depth was lacking throughout. it would have been nice for the story to really sit with at least one of the sisters and to see it through their eyes with all the small details.”
