“This book started off with a bang, but after the initial chaos, I felt like nothing happened until the very end. There were a lot of characters, which isn't always a bad thing, but the waitress felt mostly unnecessary. I felt the author kept her around for one last twist at the end. I am glad to have resolution for all the conflict, even the cold case. Overall this was not my favorite thriller, but I would read another book by this author.”
