“Amazing short story. I've never read anything bad by Ken Liu and I've nearly read everything he's written. I don't know what to say about this story besides it was incredibly moving. Both sad and triumphant. I got some fantastic quotes out of this one. Anybody who has ever tried creating art of any kind - music, stories, paintings, drawings, anything - will be moved by this story. Even if you've never tried creating art and primarily only consume it, you will still be enhanced by this story. It will only take you an hour to read. That's an incredibly small investment on your part to receive an incredibly large benefit. I can't recommend this one enough. 5/5. Perfect!”
